Surila Guglani
Ph. D. Student 

Surila Guglani received the Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, India in 2019. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. She is a recipient of the Vice Chancellor's Gold Medal at the undergraduate level. She is also the recipient of the Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship (India) 2021. 

Dissertation Topic Area: Multi-fidelity algorithms for fast polynomial chaos and machine learning metamodel training and their application to variability analysis of graphene-based high-speed interconnects

Asha Jakhar

Asha received her bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering and her M. Tech degree in Digital Communication, both from Rajasthan Technical University Kota, Rajasthan, India, in 2015. From July 2016 to December 2017 she worked as assistant professor in SKIT Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India.

Mohd Yusuf received his bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from the Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in 2012, and an MTech degree in Signal Processing and Control from the National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh in 2015.

KM Dimple received her Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand in 2014 and the M.Tech Degree in Electronics and Communication from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, Rajasthan in 2017. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India.

Smriti Singh

Smriti Singh received her Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Babu Banarasi Das National Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow, India in 2017. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India.

Suyash received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from Galgotias College of Engineering & Technology, Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh Technical University) in 2016. He received his Master's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (Photonics Group) in 2019.

Aasim Ashai

Aasim received his bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Pulwama, J&K in 2013 and a master's degree in Microelectronics from the National Institute of Technology, Srinagar, J&K in 2017.

Anubha Sehgal

Anubha has completed her B.Tech from Punjabi University, Patiala in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M. Tech from Thapar University, Patiala in VLSI design. She has completed one year internship in STMicroelectronics, Greater Noida and has qualified the UGC NET- JRF in electronic science in June 2020.

Neha Mishra
Postdoctoral Fellow 


Neha has completed her B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics from Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engg. and Tech, Bareilly (2015) and her M.Tech in VLSI design from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur (2018). She has completed her Ph. D. on the topic "Nano-gas sensor design using 2D TMD MoSe2 monolayer" from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur (2023). At present, she is working as a Postdoc fellow in the CMAS lab (IIT-R) under the supervision of Prof. Sourajeet Roy and the co-supervision of Prof. Avirup Dasgupta. Her research area includes gas sensors, energy harvesting, spintronics based on different families of 2D materials

Sourajeet Roy received the B. Tech. degree in electrical engineering from Sikkim Manipal University, Gangtok, India, in 2006, and the M.E.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. From 2013 to 2019 he served as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, USA. In 2019 he joined the Department of Electrical and Communications Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India where he leads the Computational Modeling and Simulation (CMAS) research group. His current research interests include signal and power integrity analysis of integrated circuits, machine learning-based electronic design automation (EDA) of electronic packaging, and nanoscale FET devices, and uncertainty quantification of microwave/RF circuits.

Dr. Roy is a member of the Technical Program Committee for IEEE Conference on Electrical Performance of Electronic Packaging and Systems and the IEEE Workshop on Signal and Power Integrity. He was a recipient of the Vice-Chancellors Gold Medal at the undergraduate level in 2006, the Queen Elizabeth II Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology in 2012, and the Ontario Graduate Scholarship in 2012. He currently serves as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques, IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology, IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility, and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers. He also currently serves as Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology. His student won the Best Poster Paper Award at the 23rd IEEE Conference on Electrical Performance of Electronic Packaging and Systems (EPEPS) in 2014.
